Lumen is a type of photographic creation very similar to the traditional photogram. It is a process that depends on the photosensitivity of the silver crystals present in the paper to register the transparencies and opacities of the materials used to form the photographic design. Unlike the photogram, usually created in a darkroom with developing paper (DOP), the lumen is about printing-out-paper (POP), using the sun as a light source, producing very different shades and colors.
